Lydia, What do you do in Photoshop to create an image like "Classical"? Just what do you do in general...Your photos and images are great! Thanks, Dennis -

Dennis, On "Classical" I began with a picture of a bouquet of flowers. Then I used an add on filter by Flaming Pear Software. The add on filter I used was Flexify 2. I also changed some of the colors by going to "IMAGE->ADJUSTMENTS-> REPLACE COLOR. The colors in classical are not the same as the colors of the bouquet I shot. Flexify 2 has inspired several of my works, "Beachy" being my very favorite! I also use some Nik filters and Topaz labs filters. There are also artistic filters that come with PS. And also choosing unique blending modes creates some cool stuff. It is a real blast to work on these kind of things, and very satisfying when I finally get one the way I want it! They have some great Photoshop classes here. I have taken all of them offered by jim Zuckerman. If you are really interested, you might considering taking one or more of those! Lydia -

Thanks again Lydia for answering my question. It's amazing what Photoshop filters can do in the right hands. I'm new to Better Photo and I'm taking a course with Jim Zuckerman on Developing Your Creative Artistic Vision. So far so good Thanks again! Dennis Cottongim -

I appreciate your critiques Lydia. I used a NIK filter Tonal Contrast filter on the wedge shaped building. It brought out the color and detail. -
